Exclusively reported on Deadline, Sarah Haskins and Emily Halpern – creators of ABC sitcom Trophy Wife – have received a series commitment from CBS for their single-camera comedy project Brutally Honest, written and executive produced by themselves under their production banner Kapital Entertainment – part of Ashley Tisdale’s overall deal with them as reported on Deadline.
Tisdale will make appearances on both Suburgatory and ABC’s Trophy Wife this season, in addition to co-starring on Kapital’s Merry Happy Whatever series for Netflix.
